Red Dot is Pleased to Welcome Jenn State

Specializing in web, UX and print, Jenn State has developed her design chops working for a number of local marketing firms, as well as starting her own freelance business. Her experience has focused on photography, creating brand identities and extending those brands across online and offline channels.

Even though she’s only been working in the industry less than a decade, Jenn has amassed an impressive portfolio including projects for DSM Adventure Race, Natural Heritage Foundation’s Iowa By Trail App, Honeywell, U.S. Bank, Ricochet DSM, and Above and Beyond Cancer.

Aside from being an avid traveler, Jenn dedicates her time supporting the arts by serving on the Board of Directors for the Art Director’s Association of Iowa.

Fun Facts about Jenn:

• She’s been to 16 national parks across the U.S. and isn’t going to stop until she visits them all

• She is currently planning her next multi-day backpacking trip in Glacier National Park

• She’s visited 15 countries in the past 5 years

• She saw the Queen of England in 2012

• She’s part of a local swing dancing club, Step into Swing

• She serves as the Superintendent of the Fine Arts division at the Jasper County Fair.

• She is currently on a quest to find the best in town with local DSM Pizza Club.
