The poster inspired by Google

Ok, so that’s not totally true. You know how Google illustrates their logo to celebrate historical milestones, interesting inventions and stellar human beings?

It just so happens that the day we began work on this project the artist Juan Gris, a Spanish cubist painter, was the focal point of the Google doodle. Although lesser known than Picasso, his art is incredibly textural, mixes perspectives and creates a feast for the eye. While the poster we created is not a direct descendant of his style, it incorporates some of the same qualities of cubism.
